About me
I'm a developer and product builder based in Berlin, with a long-standing interest in the UK property market and clean energy transition. I built EV Charger Hub UK because the existing UK EV charger affiliate landscape is written for the wrong audience: it tells homeowners with driveways about a £500 grant they aren't eligible for, and largely ignores the renters, leaseholders, and landlords who actually qualify.
Half of UK households rent. Most blocks of flats have a leaseholder. The cross-pavement gully route opens the grant to anyone without a driveway. These are the people I write for.
My editorial process
- Every grant figure is verified against gov.uk on the date shown at the top of each article. I re-check weekly.
- No paid placement. Affiliate commissions don't buy ranking position or "best for" labels. See methodology for full sourcing and ranking rules.
- AI-assisted, human-edited. I use AI tooling to research and draft. Every published page passes through my own review for accuracy and audience-specific framing.
- Corrections within 24 hours. If you spot an error, email me with the page URL. I credit reporters who want it.
What I'm not
I'm not a chartered electrician, NICEIC inspector, or licensed surveyor. I'm a careful researcher who cites primary sources (gov.uk, OZEV-approved installer documents, manufacturer specs). For your specific install, always use an OZEV-authorised installer who'll survey your property and confirm the technical details.
