1. Who we are

This site is operated by EV Charger Hub UK, owned by Umut Tosmanoglu. Contact: hello@evchargerhub.uk. We are the data controller for personal data collected via this site.

2. What data we collect

• Eligibility & quote requests: name (optional), email, phone (optional), postcode, your answers to wizard questions (audience type, property type, etc.).
• Server logs: IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp (retained 90 days for security and abuse detection).
• Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not personally identify visitors.

3. How we use it

• Quote/eligibility data: to match you with up to 3 NICEIC-certified EV charger installers in your area (consent required at form submission).
• Email confirmations and result delivery.
• Affiliate attribution: Awin and other affiliate partners use cookies/IDs to track conversions. These are placed when you click an affiliate link and are required for us to earn commission.

4. Third parties we share with

• NICEIC + OZEV-authorised installers (only after your explicit consent at form submission)
• Affiliate platforms: Awin Limited (which manages Go Zero Charge, evec, Bark.com Ltd, Pod Point and similar merchant programmes)
• Email infrastructure: Resend (transactional email delivery)
• Hosting: Vercel Inc.

We never sell your data. We never share it with marketers outside the affiliate network needed to provide the service you requested.

5. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to processing
• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing)
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookieless. Affiliate tracking cookies (Awin) are set when you click an affiliate link, with a typical 30-day window. We don't use marketing or retargeting cookies.

7. Data retention

• Lead submissions: 24 months from submission, then deleted
• Server logs: 90 days
• Email correspondence: 36 months

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for 14 days.
