Easee One FAQs
How much does the Easee One cost installed?
The Easee One starts at £699 for the unit. Typical UK installation adds £380, bringing the gross total to around £1,079. If you qualify for the £500 OZEV grant (renters, leasehold flat owners, landlords, or no-driveway homeowners via the on-street scheme), your installer deducts it from the invoice — net cost approximately £579. Standard homeowners with private driveways are NOT eligible for any grant and pay the full £1,079.
Is the Easee One OZEV approved?
Yes. The Easee One is on the OZEV approved list and eligible for the £500 grant when installed by an OZEV-authorised installer. This applies to all four active 2026 grant schemes — but eligibility depends on your housing situation, not the charger. Standard homeowners with driveways have NOT been grant-eligible since 2022.
Does the Easee One support Intelligent Octopus Go?
Not natively. The Easee One doesn't support Intelligent Octopus Go. You can still use it with the standard (less optimised) Octopus Go tariff. For best off-peak savings, consider Ohme, Zappi, Andersen, or Hypervolt instead.
Solar PV integration on the Easee One?
Yes. The Easee One works with home solar PV. It can prioritise solar charging when surplus is available, though Zappi remains the best-in-class option for solar households.
Who's the Easee One best for?
Best for: landlord, leasehold. Particularly strong for multi-charger installs (block of flats, landlord portfolios) due to its daisy-chain load balancing.
